About Julie Strothman

Julie Strothman

I am a user experience researcher and designer at Landmark College in Putney VT. I work on Landmark’s National Science Foundation-funded grants to broaden participation of underrepresented groups in computing fields. Landmark College serves students with learning disabilities. Recently, I did the user research and experience design on a project to improve math education. Check it out: Usable Algebra.

I’m passionate about creating satisfying online experiences for people, regardless of the tools they use to pull meaning from a screen.
I’ve co-chaired World Usability Day New England since 2006 and launched a local UX Book Club in 2009.
